Design the handoff for the reviewer
A useful alert carries enough evidence for the next person to act and explain why.
Put the question first
A reviewer needs to know what decision is being asked of them and when it is due. Lead with the case, the trigger, the deadline, and the available actions. Put supporting observations close enough that the reviewer can verify the trigger without leaving the case.
Give uncertainty a place
A missing source and a source that confirms there was no event are different states. Show which data was available, when it arrived, and what the reviewer can request if it is incomplete. Include a way to defer the case to a named owner.
Test the handoff on a busy day
Ask a reviewer to work through a small queue with duplicates, a late correction, and a case requiring escalation. Observe where they open a second tool or ask a colleague for context. Those moments reveal where evidence or ownership is missing.
